Dallas Cowboy fans might be a little on the blue side this week. After the loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday it was a hard loss for the Cowboys and for some of the players it is the end of the road as well.
An inspiring Cowboys’ team was surrounded by the finality of the playoffs after losing 30-22 to the Rams. Players come in for exit interviews, exit physicals, clean out their lockers, and leave with their stuff in trash bags. Cowboys’ Safety Jeff Heath understands the disappointment for the third time that they were one step away from moving on to the NFC Championship.
“You know once we take little time and kind of reflect a little bit more. We had our backs to the wall really since the middle of the season and the way this team responded after a slow start, we stuck together, and we kept playing hard and won a lot of close games. I think it’s something to be proud of, but obviously right now it’s tough to think that way.” Says Heath.
