New Cowboys Offensive Lineman to Start Against Texans

NFL Dallas

Due to injuries the Cowboys were forced to sign two defensive linemen. That means only two practices before they play the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Among the new players on the Offensive line is Matt Diaz. He just finished up his second practice at the star and will play against the Texans.

Matt Diaz, Offensive lineman says, “That’s what maybe nervous when my agent told me. I was coming here, because I knew they had a game on Thursday. You have to learn as much as you can until then, but Coach Colombo is helping me out a lot with that, so I think I’ll be in good hands. I can sleep after Thursday and I think I’ll be good for the game. I think I pick up things pretty quick. I’m pretty confident in what I’ll be able to do. The great Warren Zevon said, “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” That’s my philosophy 100 percent.”

Matt Diaz and the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Texans in Houston on Thursday night. It will be preseason game number four for Dallas. They’ve lost their first three games and are looking for their first win.
