It’s the last week in Oxnard for the Dallas Cowboys.
This Saturday in Cincinnati is the second pre-season game of the year. The Cowboys will fine tune their game at camp given the recent loss to the 49ers.
Jason Garrett, Head Coach says, “This is very different than school is out for the summer. We’ll have practice this week. We’ll have a game Saturday night and we’ll have a practice back at the Star next week. We’re just getting started, so this is an incredible environment to practice football, as you know Babe. The weather here is incredible. The people are so nice to us here in Oxnard, so we love practicing here, so this idea that somehow we’re trying to get out of this training camp is not real life. We’re just going to change where we do training camp. We’ll get back to the Star and back to work after we play Cincinnati on Saturday night.”
It may mean tougher practices ahead, but getting back to the Star means the Cowboys will sleep in their own beds. Something the players are looking forward to.
