Valley cities continue flood recovery efforts


RAYMONDVILLE, Texas — Cleanup efforts continue across the Rio Grande Valley in areas affected by this week’s heavy rain and floods.

In Willacy County, emergency management continues to coordinate with state and local officials for response and assist operations. Yesterday, Governor Abbott declaring a ‘state of disaster’ for the RGV county following severe flooding.

In addition, the shelter in Raymondville remains open for those in need. A current list of shelters is available below.
