Carla Ramos-Hernandez, Clerk – Port of Brownsville Recycling, “I’m scared, I don’t’ know what to do. I have four kids, I have a house payment, I have a truck payment. I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

The employees are confused at the lack of information. They say they did not receive a notice and remain unsure on whether they were fired, let go, or if they still hold their jobs. Today, they were ordered to stay away, with police nearby to ensure no one trespasses.
