Mexican authorities turn over Aggravated Kidnapping suspect

News

EDINBURG, Texas – Mexican authorities turn over an Alamo man wanted for an alleged kidnapping in San Juan back in May.

Authorities say 33-year-old Jesus Alejandro Perales Gaona allegedly forced a woman to turn over her car to him at gun point in a grocery store parking lot, later leaving her stranded in a secluded field.

Perales is in custody at the Hidalgo County Jail after being arrested at an international bridge this weekend. He now faces charges of Aggravated Kidnapping and Aggravated Robbery.

His bond is set at $1 million.
