Majority of dogs adopted from largest animal cruelty case in Cameron County


SAN BENITO, Texas – An update on the largest animal cruelty case Cameron County has ever seen. Close to 200 dogs have been adopted from the San Benito Animal Shelter. According to State Representative Alex Dominguez many of those dogs were also rescued and reclaimed by their families.

The animals were seized from a warehouse in Los Fresnos where they were found in terrible living conditions. Some of these dogs are still up for adoption. Visit the Cameron County Animal Shelter in San Benito if you would like a forever friend.
