The water boil notice in the city of San Benito has been lifted.

On January 10th local water treatment experts received an “all clear” from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.

Cold weather conditions caused the water pressure to drop below 20 pounds per square inch.

As a result, the city implemented a boil notice as required by state law.
