The City of Weslaco is now offering a new way to communicate with residents.
The new ‘My Weslaco’ mobile app puts submitting service requests at the touch of the screen.
Residents can also see the city’s events calendar and even make utility payments.
City staff say the new app will help improve the line of communication between city government and residents.
Jose Pena, IT Director says, “It’s to improve civic engagement. The more people involved in government, the better and more accountable it will be. It just makes the city more efficient.”
Folks can also use the ‘My Weslaco’ app to find job opportunities.
