Up to 10,000 Central Americans Making Their Way to the American Border

Local News

Federal law enforcement is getting ready to deal with the large group of undocumented immigrants from Central America. The caravan which numbers somewhere between 7,000 – 10,000 people is only a few hundred miles away from the U.S. border.

They’re expected to attempt an illegal crossing somewhere between Brownsville, Laredo, or Eagle Pass in the next week or so. In the past, smaller groups from places like Honduras and Guatemala have made their way into the U.S. through the Rio Grande Valley.

It is unclear if that will be the case this time. Agencies like the U.S. Border Patrol are getting ready for this massive influx.
