United Blood Services to Host Blood Drive at Valle Vista Mall

Valle Vista Mall, Harlingen’s family friendly shopping venue, invites shoppers to help save lives and provide support to the local community this weekend by donating blood to United Blood Services. The nonprofit community center provides blood, blood components and special services for more than 500 hospitals in 18 states. Donors must bring photo ID and donor card and will receive free cholesterol testing and a gift card. To sign up in advance, visit www.bloodhero.com.

In addition, families can take a break from their holiday shopping to enjoy the following festive “Sounds of the Season” performances in the Forever 21 Court:

  • Mercedes JFK Elementary School Fourth and Fifth Grade Band and Choir, Thursday, December 15 from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
  • Coakley Middle School Seventh and Eighth Grade Band and Orchestra, Friday, December 16 from 10 – 10:30 a.m.
  • Wilson Elementary Fifth Grade Class Carolers, Monday, December 19 from 11 – 11:30 a.m.
  • Harlingen High School Cardinal Band Percussion Group, Monday, December 19 from 6 – 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, December 17

1 – 6 p.m.

1 – 6 p.m.
