TSC Remembering 9/11

Local News

As memorial services for the September 11 tragedies continue throughout the country, one group remembers and advocates for community engagement.

Texas Southmost College held a remembrance ceremony to honor the victims of terrorist attacks.

Students held a memorial art piece signed by students, members of the public and first responders.

“We want to celebrate the resilience of our country. The resilience of what we stand for as far as freedom. We like to share this with our students. We will never forget these tragic days,” says Armando Ponce, TSC’s Director of Student Life.

Students had a chance to speak out about the 9/11 tragedies and what the day means to them.
