One of three teens involved in the murder of a Rio Grande City teen will be tried as an adult.
Investigators say three teens were involved in the murder of Chayse Olivarez in August. His remains were found in pieces and thrown in a vacant lot in Roma. An investigator with the Texas Rangers told prosecutors his findings showed the killing may have been over some marijuana brownies and a few pain pills.
Adult certification hearings are pending for the other teens connected to the case.
