As you prepare for the cold front remember to think about your pets too. Animal control with the city of Brownsville wants to you to be mindful and not to leave your pets outside for longer than fifteen minutes. If you do leave your pets outside, make sure they have a doghouse.

Animal control can give citations ranging from $100 – $500 for not having a roof over their head. They can even take away your pet temporarily until the temperatures improve. If you have a concern, you can call animal control seven days a week at 956-574-6729.
