Superintendent Clarifies Scoreboard Issue

Local News

Earlier this week several BISD high school band students and parents were concerned they would not be able to play music freely. Some band directors were reportedly told not play while advertisements aired on the new scoreboard.

Superintendent Esperanza Zendejas issued a statement saying she never sent that directive. She met with band directors to assure them that the scoreboard will be managed. Avoiding interruptions of band performances.
