Shootout ends with car crashing into house

ALAMO, Texas – A shootout between two vehicles ends with one of those vehicles crashing into a home.

It happened at the intersection of Greystone Circle and Tower Road.

According to authorities the incident began when people in both vehicles exchanged fire at a nearby Burger King.

The two vehicles than engaged in a chase until one of the drivers lost control, ramming their SUV into a home.

The homeowner says she had just arrived home and walked out of her kitchen when the crash happened.

“And I just heard this loud boom and I turned towards the dining room and I just see a big white cloud and there is a car coming in through the dining room and there is a woman screaming hysterically and I see someone just run that way.” Said Maria Briones, the homeowner.

Police are still searching for all the suspects involved. The woman who was driving the vehicle was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The residents of the home were not injured, and the family does have homeowner’s insurance to cover the damages caused by the suspect.
