It was a field day for people who collect “Everything Selena.” From her DVD’s to her line of Mac Makeup. Anything tied to the late queen of Tejano flies off the shelves, especially in Texas. Add some special cups to the list of Selena collectibles.
At selected Stripes Convenience Stores around the state, the commemorative cups went on sale and just as they did, they sold out. But we found some on a shelf in Brownsville. The manager expected them to sell out in a few hours.
The cups sell for $2.99 and you can get refills for $0.99. However, most people wanted them for their collection, or in some cases to sell. The cups are already going for as much as $100 on Ebay.
