Scouts Showcase World Traditions

Local News

Over 300 Girl Scouts unite to celebrate World Thinking Day.

The girls represent over 31 countries by showcasing traditions, food, and attire.

The goal of this event is to show young girls the importance of positive change for their lives and their communities.

Scout Ambassador Jordan Gonzales says a day like this “teaches them about the culture of different cultures of different countries. It teaches them to respect and it teaches them different life long things.”

This year’s theme was Connect-Grow-Impact.
