RGV Area Chick-fil-A restaurants host week long giveaway for Hometown Heroes in May

Local News

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas – Chick-fil-A restaurants in the Rio Grande Valley area are teaming up to host a “Hometown Heroes” week-long giveaway to celebrate the community’s public servants through Thursday, May 9 between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. The restaurants will dedicate one day of the giveaway to each of the respective groups: nurses, teachers, first responders and military personnel and veterans. Guests with a valid form of identification who visit a local restaurant on their designated weekday will receive their choice of one of the following entrée options: Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich, Chick-n-Strips™ (3-count), Chick-fil-A® Nuggets (8-count), or Grilled Nuggets (8-count).

“We would like to take this opportunity to extend our gratitude to the heroes in our hometown,” said Michael Hancock, franchise Operator of Chick-fil-A Pharr. “Providing food for those who serve our community is just a small token of our gratitude for all they’ve done and will continue to do for us.”
The free Chick-fil-A offer is redeemable with a valid ID as proof of profession or service and is available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., while supplies last. Offer is limited to one free entrée per person, and not valid with any other offer. Offer is valid in-restaurant and in the drive-thru (drive-thru options may vary) at participating Rio Grande Valley Chick-fil-A locations. Guests are encouraged to contact their local restaurant with questions.
