PSJA ISD Receives Perfect Score For Fiscal Responsibility

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD received a perfect score and a Superior Rating in the Texas Education Agency’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2017-2018 school year.

The district received a score of 100 for meeting all state requirements expected, such as the submission of an annual financial report, external independent auditor report, as well as timely payments to the Teacher Retirement System, to name a few.

This is the 16th consecutive year PSJA ISD receives this Superior rating. 

“We congratulate our Business Office and all members of the PSJA family that play a key role in ensuring the best management of our financial resources are met,” said Dr. Daniel King, PSJA ISD Superintendent. “Thank you for continuing our mission to provide the best opportunities for our students and staff.”
