This event is part of an ongoing camp to have kids learn from professional NBA players.

Coaches and players for this event are touring south Texas cities including Edinburg, McAllen and Brownsville.

Utah Jazz Guard George Hill says, “You know you see us always on TV and things like that, but this gives us an opportunity to see us up close and personal, get to talk to us a little bit more, pick our brain from what we’ve known and learn  in our profession. So for me it’s always good to come back and give the kids a little bit of knowledge and help them out to try to get better. ”

Hill says he sees improvement in this area each year.

Event organizers say close to one hundred children showed up to today’s camp in Brownsville.
