The 2016-2017 school year is in full effect. Which means Texas A&M officials are preparing for their expansion to the Rio Grande Valley. This shift in higher education is history in the making.
Amy Smith Texas A&M Chief of Communications says, “It’s hard sometimes for people in the Rio Grande Valley. It seems a nation away. The thought of going north to College Station is hard. And it’s hard for people from an affordability component. So what happens when you take the best that Texas A&M has to offer and you bring it to the Rio Grande Valley?”
Texas A&M University invited us up to college station to get a real feel of what it is they are trying to bring down to our valley students. Don’t forget to tune in tonight at 10 p.m. for my special report, ‘RGV Home for a New A&M’.
