Police Cracking Down On Excessive Yard Sales

Brownsville Police are cracking down on excessive yard sales in the city.

Per city ordinance residents are allowed to have one yard sale every three months and for no more than five consecutive days.

Brownsville Police Chief Orlando Rodriguez says daily and weekly yard sales are considered a form of business. This includes the sale of produce, candy, food and vehicles.
