Photo Exhibit Opens at TSC

An award winning photo exhibit makes its way to the Rio Grande Valley.

It’s known as Houston Uncommon, a collection of photos by the American Institute of Architects opens at Texas Southmost College.

There are over 100 photographs that celebrate Houston buildings. From churches to office buildings the exhibit showcases often overlooked sections of the city.

Architecture Instructor Dr. Murad Abusalim says, “This is a collection of photos that were put together by the AIA which is the American Institute of Architects Houston. This art show will go on the remaining of April. For almost a month. It is open for the public free of charge.”

The exhibit will remain at the Brownsville ITEC campus until April 28.
