Pet of the Week – Darryl

Local News

On this Monday’s Pet of the Week, we’re going to introduce you to a puppy named Darryl from the Brownsville Animal Shelter. He’s a Chihuahua-mix who’s still looking for his forever home.

“Hello, my name is Cristian Recio, adoption specialist here at the Brownsville Animal Regulation and Care Center. With me, I have Darryl and he is our superstar pet of the week. Darryl is a pup, he’s about eight months old. He’s really sweet. He’s really timid at first, but once he gets to know you, he is a ball of energy. He likes to be held and he is the perfect size for an apartment for a lapdog. He’s great with other dogs and would be great with a family with kids. If you’re interested in adopting, please stop by the shelter at 416 FM 511 or give us a call 956 544 7351. If Darryl is not what you’re looking for, please stop by anyway. We have other cats and dogs that are looking for their forever home.”
