U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Hidalgo International Bridge seized alleged cocaine valued at $183,940.

The seizure occurred on July 5 after CBP officers referred a grey 2012 Nissan Rogue to secondary for an enforcement inspection. A 25-year-old female United States citizen from San Juan, TX drove the vehicle. After a physical inspection and with help of a K-9 team, CBP officers discovered 10 packages containing 23.85 pounds of alleged cocaine.

Officers seized the narcotics along with the vehicle, arrested the driver, and turned her over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.
