The law is changing for pet owners in Brownsville starting January first.

All dogs and cats will be required to be micro chipped under a new city ordinance.

The animal regulation and care center is offering to do it for just five dollars.

Veterinarians say the chip is as small as a grain of rice, And it can make sure your furry friend doesn’t get lost.
