Motel 6 shooting suspect in custody

MCALLEN, Texas – A murder suspect arrested and charged with the death of 28-year-old Noel Jesus Valenzuela.

The incident happened at a Motel 6 on Monday morning where authorities say 23-year-old Vicente David Coronado shot Valenzuela, who later died at a local hospital.

Coronado was arraigned and faces charges of Murder a First Degree Felony ($1 million), Possession of Marijuana a State Jail Felony ($100,000) and Evading Arrest a Class “A” Misdemeanor ($20,000). His bond has been set at $1,120,00.
