Man Arrested For Possession Of Cocaine, Heroin, and Evading Arrest

On 01/03/2019, narcotics agents attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a white Chrysler 200 for traffic violations, but the driver (identified as Ruben Luis Sanchez, 64) would not stop.

As Sanchez continued driving, agents observed Sanchez throw narcotics out of the vehicle. Sanchez finally came to a stop on the 500 block of E. Jefferson St. Where he was arrested. 

Agents found the narcotics Sanchez had thrown out of the vehicle and recovered 11 small Ziploc baggies, each containing a crack cocaine rock. The combined total weight of the cocaine is 3.4 grams.

Agents also recovered 18 small squared pieces of tin foil, each containing heroin. The combined total weight of the heroin is 2.9 grams.

Ruben Luis Sanchez was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (cocaine), Possession of a Controlled Substance (heroin) and Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.
