The Sunrise Rotary Club of Brownsville will be welcoming the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians on their district spanning Rotary Polio Moto Road Ride on March 23 and 24. The group plans to arrive in Brownsville around 2:30 pm on Saturday, March 23 during their Laredo to Brownsville ride. They will be stopping at the Brownsville Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and will be available for interviews and photos, along with local members and state officers of Rotary Clubs from the Valley and Laredo.

Last year 40 Rotarians on motorcycles arrived to spread the message of Rotary International’s effort to eradicate polio around the world. Club members rode over 800 miles through District 5930 to end Polio and raise funds for Hurricane Harvey Relief in our Rotary District.

The ride begins at Laredo, Texas and passes through Victoria, Corpus Christi and stops in cities along The Rio Grande Valley including Brownsville.
