Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Stroke Center unveiling its 12 bed Neuroscience Step Down Unit. It allows for double the original capacity for more treatments. The new unit has cardiac and epilepsy monitoring rooms providing care to neurology, neurosurgery and epilepsy patients.

Dr. Juan Padilla, DHR – Chief of Neuroscience, “We have the only skeleton that means that this is a machine that when the patient has weakness and cannot walk, the machine is going to train them how to walk. Officials say last year, the center administered over 70 injections used to dissolve blood clots with zero bleed complications.
