IDEA Public School Presents Sombrerito Fest

Local News

The IDEA Public School in Brownsville is taking part in the Charro Days celebration with their First annual IDEA Brownsville Sombrerito Fest. It features food, student folklorico, and mariachi performers. Students also honor their cultural traditions in a colorful display of music and dance.

Like Charro Days, the event is aimed at building excitement and awareness for students around the rich cultural history of Brownsville and the border. As a reminder, don’t forget about the bigger Sombrero Fest taking place today, tomorrow, and Saturday where Local 23 News will serve as special guests.
