Heat increases Border Patrol rescues

Local News

FALFURRIAS, Texas – An increase in triple digit temperatures means an increase in Border Patrol rescues.

These are some of the images captured as Falfurrias agents tracked down a group of ten undocumented immigrants who crossed through private ranchlands.

Border Patrol officials say four of the migrants showed signs of severe dehydration. Agents carried them to the closest road and began immediate medical treatment until ambulances arrived.

All four migrants were all admitted for heat related illnesses.
