Free film screenings to panel to workshops, you can find all that and more at the South Texas International Film Festival.
The event is in its fourth year and features more than 50 films that were written, directed, and produced by independent filmmakers. The film festival is a collaboration between the city of Edinburg and the Dustin M. Sekula Memorial Library.
The festival will continue through Saturday, September 8.

The festival is being held at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance and is free to the public.
