BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The first ever Charity Law Enforcement Flag Football Tournament will take place on Saturday, April 27.
Coordinated by the Brownsville Independent School District Police and Security Services Department, all proceeds will benefit the Brownsville Rainbow Room.
Sgt. Jose De Leon, BISD Police, “Not only do we [BISD Police] have the privilege of protecting our children it’s also important for us to help the children who have been abused and neglected.”
The Lower Valley Rainbow Rooms provide basic needs to children and families through traumatic times and provide support to Child Protection Service caseworkers. The tournament is strictly for law enforcement officers and will take place at Oliveira Park in Brownsville at 8:00 a.m.
