Faith Based Organization Provides Back to School Supplies

Hundreds of local kids are headed back to school with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom.

Buckner Rio Grande Valley located in Mission, provided new backpacks, school supplies, and shoes for 400 students. The group had lots of volunteers passing out the supplies.

Buckner is a faith-based non-profit ministry.  It’s dedicated to transforming the lives of vulnerable children. The mission is ultimately to build strong families.

The kids receiving the supplies are all part of the Buckner Family Hope Center at Saenz Middle School in Peñitas.
