FAA Restricts Air Space For SpaceX Facility

As testing continues at the SpaceX Boca Chica facility, the Federal Aviation Administration is restricting air space next week. 

The FAA Has posted a notice that no aircraft will be allowed within a nautical mile of the launch site starting next Monday. The restriction will continue through Wednesday.

The precaution is to provide a safe environment for rocket launch and recovery. The notice was posted Friday morning as SpaceX entered a second day of testing.

A portion of State Highway 4 is closed enroute to Boca Chica Beach as SpaceX conducts testing on the Hopper Starship.
