Dairy Queen Renames McAllen Stadium

Mcallen ISD is excited to announce a new partnership with a local Dairy Queen franchise.
Dairy Queen, which is locally owned and operated in the Rio Grande Valley, has purchased the naming rights to McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium. The new field will now be known as DQ Fan Field. Dairy Queen along with several other sponsors will help the district purchase a new scoreboard at no cost to tax payers.

McAllen ISD Superintendent Dr. J.A. Gonzalez says, “D.Q. is a phenomenal organization. We’re just blessed to be part of the DQ family now and we’re proud that DQ is part of our family.They’re an organization that believes in giving back to the community.”

The partnership between Dairy Queen and the district will last through 2024.
