Cocaine Seized At Hidalgo Port of Entry Worth Over $236K

U.S. Customs and Border Protection at the Hidalgo International Bridge seized alleged cocaine valued at $236,300.

On April 26 CBP officers referred a tan 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe to secondary for an enforcement inspection. A 21-year-old male United States citizen from Wautoma, Wisconsin drove the vehicle. After a physical inspection and the use a non-intrusive imaging system, officers discovered 12 packages containing 30.64 pounds of alleged cocaine.

CBP OFO seized the narcotics along with the vehicle, arrested the driver and turned him over to the custody of Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.
