CBP Seizes over $40,000 in Cocaine at Gateway International Bridge

More than $40,000 worth of cocaine are off the streets thanks to Customs and Border Protection Officers at the Gateway International Bridge.

The narcotics were intercepted as a 29 year old Mexican woman from Matamoros attempted to cross with them hidden inside a white Ford Windstar.

The two packages weighing at about a little more than five pounds were discovered thanks to a K-9 unit. The driver and the narcotics have been handed over to Homeland Security.
