CBP Seizes Cocaine at International Bridges

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Officers say $500,000 worth of cocaine are off the streets today after two separate drug busts that happened Saturday. The first incident happened at the Hidalgo International Bridge after officers inspected a silver Dodge Caliber. CBP officers found 15 packages of cocaine weighing nearly 35 pounds in the SUV. The second bust happened at the Anzalduas International Bridge. Officers found 15 packages with 37 pounds of cocaine in a Nissan Altima. The drivers of the two separate vehicles were Mexican citizens.
