CBP Arrest Local Woman With $188k Worth Of Cocaine

A young local woman was arrested for attempting to smuggle in close to $200,000 worth of cocaine.

It happened at the Hidalgo International Bridge.

Customs and Border Protection officers tell us the narcotics were hidden inside a 2010 Mazda SUV driven by a 22-year-old woman from Hidalgo.

A canine alerted to the nine packages of cocaine.

The case was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations.
