Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley rescued one man and discovered a deceased individual.

Yesterday, the Brooks County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Falfurrias Border Patrol station regarding a 911 caller who was lost in the vast ranch lands of Brooks County. Agents responded to the vicinity of the last known geographical coordinates and located the man. Agents provided medical attention to the subject and transported him to the station for processing.

Hours later, agents to the Hebbronville Border Patrol station received a phone call from an unidentified individual stating a member of their family was abandoned in the brush earlier that day. After speaking with the individual, agents responded to an area described by the caller and discovered the body of a deceased man.
