Border Patrol Break up Stash House and Smuggling Attempt

Border Patrol agents in Roma, Texas, working in collaboration with the Starr County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, identified a suspected stash house operating out of a resident in Roma, Texas, yesterday. 

Inside, the agents uncovered eight illegal aliens from the countries of Mexico and Guatemala. 

All eight were apprehended.

In Mission, Texas, Border Patrol, working in collaboration with Mission Police Officers worked together to halt a smuggling attempt resulting in the arrest of one United States citizen and nine illegal aliens. 

The Mission Police Department took custody of the alien smuggler identified as 31 year old, Angel Felipe Rodriguez of Weslaco. Mr. Rodriguez was taken before a magistrate and charged with the offense of Smuggling of Persons. Mr. Angel Felipe Rodriguez was remanded to the Hidalgo County Jail in lieu of bond. The criminal case will be forwarded to the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office for prosecution. 

All subjects will be processed accordingly
