After Reportedly Kidnapped in Africa, Brownsville Municipal Court Judge now at Home

Local News

A Brownsville judge is finally back home after reportedly being kidnapped in Africa. Brownsville Municipal Judge Ben Neece, also a local attorney, is not saying much about the incident in Lome, Togo, Africa. His law office only says he is out for a few days. The only comment he’s given is on his Facebook page expressing his pride in America. He also thanks the U.S. State Department for negotiating his quick release. The City of Brownsville Municipal Court says Neece’s last day will be December 23rd.
