Adoption display underway in McAllen

Local News

MCALLEN, Texas – A gallery that aims to connect adoptable children with a forever family is now on display in Hidalgo County.

For more than a decade the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services has collaborated with south Texas community partners to host the gallery. Organizers say the photographs are just a small reflection of the thousands of children statewide who are seeking to be part of a forever family.

Through the end of the week the display is being housed at Rio Bank on north 23rd Street.
