Group of teens arrested for theft of vehicle/evading arrests

HARLINGEN, Texas – A group of five teens and a juvenile accused of stealing a vehicle and evading arrest were caught by Harlingen Police.

Authorities say the theft happened on the 400 block of West Roosevelt Street.

As police responded to the call they spotted the stolen vehicle but the driver refused to pull over.

Local 23 is told the vehicle eventually came to a stop on the 2500 block of South Business 77.

All six suspects inside the vehicle were arrested and are facing charges for evading arrest.

Jonathan Sandoval was also charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
