News

BROWNSVILLE, Texas – The 15th annual Heart Gallery opens at the Dean Porter Park Children’s Museum in Brownsville. During the event, the gallery titled “Oh the Places You’ll Go” was unveiled. It features 38 photos of foster children who are looking for a forever family. The gallery is just a small reflection of the thousands of children in need of a home. Some are sharing the importance of adoption and how it changed their life.

Dr. Mary Curtis, Rotary Club of Brownsville, “One of the messages we want to share here is that adoption is a moment in time. She is my child. She is forever mine and we rely on each other as any family would.”

With the holidays around the corner the goal is to find these children a loving home. For those interested in the gallery or those interested in adopting or fostering a child, the gallery will stay open and free of charge until December 31st.
