FBI conducts search warrant at La Joya City Hall


LA JOYA, Texas – FBI agents conducting a raid at La Joya City Hall this morning. It’s still unknown what led to a search warrant at the city offices.
An FBI spokesperson said agents are conducting quote “law enforcement activities and can’t comment on specific details… and what they’re looking for.”

However they do assure no arrests have been made.

Jacqueline Bazan, city administrator, “We have verified that the search warrant is valid by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It is a general search warrant, it doesn’t specify any details as to what they will be looking for. It’s my understanding documentation is all I’ve been told in general.”

The city’s offices remain under investigation.
