Do you recognize this tattoo? Police need help identifying a man killed this week


BROWNSVILLE, Texas – Brownsville Police Detectives are working to identify an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene of an auto pedestrian accident. The incident occurred on August 12 at about 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of International Blvd. and Harding St. 

The deceased was a pedestrian in the accident and appears to be somewhere between 40 and 50 years of age. He is approximately 5’5” tall, weighs approximately 150 lbs, has short black and gray hair, as well as a mustache and small beard stubble on his chin. He was wearing a red and black checkered button shirt with blue jeans and black flip flops (open toe sandals). He has a small tattoo of a fish on his left upper arm. He had no identification on his person.

An autopsy was ordered to determine the cause of death.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Brownsville Police Department at (956) 548-7000.  Case remains under investigation.
